The unpredictable spawns kinda took away everything I liked about the first game and I was bored past the hour mark. I agree that it can encourage camping if player's inclinations are not to go on offense/aggressive. That forces you into either camping or forming an extremely repetitive gameplay loop. Its primary means of playthrough (excluding endless & challenge modes) trades linear static spawns & maps for level sets and random spawns - That's not endless. How is there less strategic planning in a game that allows you to pick a special abilities front in a playthrough, then lets you choose from & add additional abilities? I thought this allowed for at least different strategic choices from the first game, if not more strategy.Īnd instead opted for an endless gauntlet of enemies Those who are on consoles will not have the ability to do this, so they will sadly have to sit through the entirety of the two and a half-hour time limit. Whoopie), strngthrows (not very powerful), +1HP (it was buggy before.Mind control delete stripped all strategic planning that kept the game fresh SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE: Skip Eight Hours Once again this option is only for those who are playing on the PC, as they will need to mess around with the game's files. Don't bother with "lethalcharge".ĬRAP HACKS THAT YOU SHOULDN'T TAKE: +bullets (unless the other option is worse), defbul (you get hit more often than you deflect them), piercing (too situational), lethalcharge (easier to kill them), strongp (saves ONE punch. Here, use "fastmove", "berzerk", "rndmle", "ironfst" and "chaincrg". Remember you can use charge to get away from an exploding mushroom guy as easily as it can bring you to one. Just get the katana back in your hand.įor DOG (charge): Cooldown on charge is short, so use it liberally. Don't try to get fancy with killing guys on recalls unless it is super safe. Take "hidshurkn" for a backup if you have to throw your katana between recall cooldowns. Grab "flwrecall", "berzerk", and "wpnmstr" if you can. Ignore the NINJA-specific hack "piercing". Don't be afraid to throw the katana a lot. Grab "perfswitch" and "ultraswitch" for god mode.įor NINJA (recall): Obviously, taking advantage of the katana (one of the best weapons in the game) is what you are going for. Outside of hotswitch, I play ADDICT and CLIENT about the same. ADDICT is my go-to core for harder levels. If you (for example) start down a gun-centric build for Ninja, it's okay to build on the guns and use recall in rare conditions.įor CLIENT (endurance): Gunner builds (quickshot, ricochet, rndgun) work great as do Zerker builds (berzerk, rndmle, telstreak, wpnmstr)įor ADDICT (hotswitch): Hotswitch is a great get-out-of-eating-a-bullet-free card. Sometimes you don't get hacks that aren't specific for your core. This one is obvious, but pick hacks that synergize with not only your core but also your other hacks. If you are NOT down any hearts and a boss shows up, avoid the boss and attack the regulars.ĥ. If you are down 1 (or 2) hearts and a boss shows up, only attack the boss. This is a great way to move as it gives you great control without speeding up the action too much.ģ. When you do have to move, always jump and hold down the spacebar. Stand still and do a quick 360 after every kill to see where the enemies are, then plan your attack.Ģ. Can someone confirm if this Mind Control Delete works properly as I had no luck with Super. Was considering maybe getting SuperHot MCD instead, seeing this post here looks promising. The easiest and fastest way to lose is to move too much.
